We are IKOKAI
This brand is born from the personal search for one's own path. After many years of traveling and living away from “home”, I found it again not in a place but in the love of myself and my loved ones. I discovered that I felt “at home” whenever I could be myself without stifling my creativity and still feel deeply loved for being who I am.
In this period of metamorphosis, I found my most fun version in the process of creating my own accessories. I moved away from what was considered “safe” to explore colors, shapes and pieces that today I define as true statements.
What does IKOKAI mean?
The truth is that I don't know at all. IKOKAI is a word that my son invented when he was very little and that I always translated as loving madly. So original, so his that he made me understand that there was the perfect definition of authenticity: something that doesn't try to fit in, it simply exists.
IKOKAI is him, it is me and it is the language of those who, without fear, decide to create their own rules.
